Comparative analysis of general toxic effect of the drug "Sedatin, instant film, 0.2 mg"

The research objective was to conduct preclinical toxicological research of the effect of "Sedatin, Instant Film, 0.2 mg" medicine on the basis of domestic oligopeptide. In the experiments on laboratory animals (mice (males) - 72 heads, rabbits (males/females) - 60 heads) single and repeated introduction of "Sedatin, Instant Film, 0.2 mg" medicine (production of CKT (REC) PFU, Russia) in comparison with the drug "Sedatin®, Solution for Intramuscular Injections, 1 mg/ml" was studied (JSC Farm BIO, Russia production). In the experiments on acute toxicity on mice the influence of single introduction of high toxic doses for the purpose of establishment of the average lethal dose of the drug "Sedatin" causing death of 50 % of animals in experimental groups was investigated.
