Comparison of natural pregnancy and pregnancy after in vitro fertilization

The article presents a comparative analysis of different characteristics of singleton and multiple pregnancies of women who became pregnant as a result of IVF and without the use of assisted reproductive technologies. It was revealed that, regardless of the method of fertilization, women with multiple pregnancies have the higher risk of complications in comparison with women with a singleton pregnancy. The most common complications are: anemia grade 1, mild preeclampsia, intrauterine growth retardation.
