The questions of the legislation s humanization, connected with the equal protection of the law and court, ensuring the rights of the criminal proceedings, represent special urgency. Its necessary to increase the efficiency of the preventive punishment in the form of deposit in the Russian Federation, thereby to decrease the cases of selection of the preventive punishment as confinement under guard for the crimes of minor and medium gravity of offence.
