The article focuses on the specific features of mental states and resilience of first-year students in a situation of higher educational institution restructuring. The author analyzes the data of the structural components of a typical mental state: mental processes, physiological reactions, feelings and behavior. The paper reveals the intergroup differences of experienced mental conditions and resistance scales of first year students of various specializations (bachelor’s courses).
