The article shows the principle opposite of the psychoanalytic and the Christian approaches to the study of a human being. It presents and compares the basic anthropological characteristics of a person in the psychoanalytic and the Christian teachings. The authors discuss the phenomenology of anthropological distortion of the nature and the essence of human being in the psychoanalytic doctrine. The research concludes that psychoanalytic doctrine is a negative deontological anthropology that is based on the ideas about sexually pathological distortion of human being and his amoral nature, while the Christian anthropology is a positive doctrine claiming ontological rationality of the human nature and his religious and moral nature.
