Comparative analysis of regional programmes supporting small and medium-sized businesses in the Siberian federal district

The recent negative trends in the dynamics of small and medium-sized businesses in the regions of the Siberian Federal District confirm the low effectiveness of regional SME support programs in this territory. In such conditions, an analysis of regional programs for supporting small and medium-sized businesses is required for goal setting and indicators, criteria and indicators for achieving the set goals. The work presents the results of this comparative analysis for all regions of the Siberian Federal District, found a weak association of the goals formulated in the programs with the specifics of the region and the vagueness of the targets, criteria and indicators for achieving goals. As a result, it is not possible to objectively assess the effectiveness and effectiveness of regional programs to support small and medium-sized businesses in the Siberian Federal District, which negatively affects the dynamics of the phenomenon itself.
