The article is devoted to the analysis of Russian climate projects as one of the tools of adaptation to climate change. It addresses pressing issues related to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and modernizing key economic sectors in the context of national climate policy and the adopted Climate Doctrine of the Russian Federation. The criteria for classifying projects as climate-focused, their distribution across industries, and the scale of planned emission reductions are analysed. The study identifies specific features of project implementation, with emphasis on their long-term nature. The necessity of supporting and expanding climate initiatives in the context of sanctions and structural changes in the national economy is emphasized. Based on the research results, conclusions are drawn regarding the importance of accumulating experience and the prospects for the further development of climate projects in Russia.
