This article presents a comparative analysis of modern satellite systems designed to provide global internet access. The study focuses on the technological features, deployment strategies, security aspects, and accessibility of major satellite networks currently being developed and operated worldwide. Particular attention is given to the technical and economic parameters that determine performance and feasibility of these systems. The analysis covers key characteristics such as data transmission speed, latency, service costs, and the extent of global coverage. The work also evaluates the advantages and limitations of different orbital configurations, including low, medium, and geostationary orbits, which significantly influence the quality and availability of internet services. In addition, the research observes the prospects for the integration of satellite internet into the global communication infrastructure, considering both technical advancements and geopolitical factors. The article concludes highlighting the challenges associated with satellite-based internet, such as signal delay, regulatory issues, and the management of orbital resources, while emphasizing its potential to reduce digital inequality and expand connectivity in remote and underserved regions of the world.
