The article is devoted to the study of the problem of development of logical thinking of future professionals at different stages of their training: during school and in the educational process of the University. In the framework of the problem by empirical research is determined and compared the level of development of logical thinking operations in high school students and undergraduate students. The studied samples are presented by students of the 11th grade and 4th year students of the University with the same profile and direction of study - physical and mathematical. The basis for the study and comparison was the assumption that logical thinking, developed during the school period, should receive even greater opportunities for development in the educational process of the University.
