Comparative Analysis of the Implementation of the Foreign Policy Strategies of China, the United States, and Turkey in Relation to the Countries of Central Asia

This article examines the instability of socioeconomic and political processes in Central Asian states, which increases the risk of destructive phenomena, creates threats to international security, and makes the region the focus of foreign policy attention from major political players. The aim of the study is a comparative analysis of the foreign policy strategies of the United States, China and Turkey in terms of their impact on the development of the Central Asian region. The choice of countries for the study is determined by the level of their activity in the region as Russia’s geopolitical rivals. The comparative analysis of foreign policy strategies was carried out on the basis of the conceptual framework of the theory of self-developing dynamic socio-economic systems, which made it possible to classify and evaluate the activities of states in the foreign policy arena in the context of its impact on the processes in Central Asian countries. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the United States, China and Turkey demonstrated various mechanisms in implementing their policies in the region, with an emphasis either on supporting internal processes of self-development and self-organization in Central Asian countries, or on strengthening their influence in the region through direct external resources. The study of the foreign policy strategies of these countries in the context of the theoretical framework of the concept of self-developing dynamic socio-economic systems creates additional arguments for assessing the position of the Russian Federation in the region and developing future strategies within the framework of the concept of building a multipolar world.
