Comparative analysis of the legislative framework of law enforcement in Russia and the BRICS countries

The article is devoted to the study of legal regulation of law enforcement in Russia and the BRICS countries. Law enforcement is one of the main and most important functions of the state that ensure stability. The approach to the regulation of law enforcement activities differs from state to state, as well as the construction of the law enforcement system. However, there are some common features. The BRICS countries have much in common, they are defined as actively developing countries with significant potential. The very creation of this interstate association indicates the intentions of integration, which implies the need to develop a common approach to the regulation of a significant part of social relations. The study of the experience of legal regulation of law enforcement structures in different countries allows us to determine whether there are significant differences, to examine the experience of legal regulation, and also to determine how acceptable it is for implementation in Russia, whether there is a need to change the norms of law. The study takes into account the specifics of the development of each state, i.e. the most pressing problems, the solution of which is achieved by improving the norms of law, as well as changing the system of state bodies. Based on the results of the study, the author draws conclusions regarding the similarities and differences in the legal regulation of law enforcement in the BRICS countries, the identified advantages and disadvantages of the legal framework in the member states of this association.
