Comparative analysis of employment and self-employment in the modern market economy of Russia

The article presents a comparative analysis of self-employment with other forms of employment, identifies their common features and significant differences, and also identifies the main advantages and disadvantages of self-employment in comparison with other forms of employment. The purpose of the article is to determine the place of this form of employment in the modern market economy of Russia, to identify possible problems and difficulties associated with the activities of self-employed citizens.
