Medieval corporality and medieval rationality

The world outlook principles of the Western European Middle Ages are set by Christianity. They assume the accurate solution of an anthropological problem. However versions of this decision and somatic codes were rather various. Categorical differentiation spiritual and material, carnal and spiritual, souls and bodies has turned the main anthropological problem into one of the main world outlook subjects of this period. Her decision directly influenced understanding of meaning of life, the vital choice and a daily trajectory of behavior. Practicians of a corporality (asceticism, an Eros), corporal figurativity and corporal codes in culture are considered. Specifics of medieval rationality are characterized.
