Terms of legislation of the deputy corpus in the local self-government system

The article examines the issue of the terms of the legislature of deputies of the representative body of local self-government. The norms of the Federal Law "On the General Principles of Organization of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation", other regulatory legal acts, scientific works on the stated topic are analyzed. It is noted that the terms of parliamentary powers do not have clear legal regulation, proposals for improving the legislation are substantiated, in particular, it is proposed to consider the day of reference from which the deputy acquires powers, the day of the official publication of the results of municipal elections.
