Regional development self-sufficient as a factor of Russia macroeconomic sustainability in the global dynamics: trends, problems, prospects for the implementation of foreign incentive experience

In the paper, based on the author's conviction of the need to implement a sustainable and green economy model in Russia in the conditions of low predictability of global socio-political trends, the author's methodology assesses the economic stability of regions and districts, highlights the main features of interregional differentiation in Russia as a factor limiting reforming the national socio-economic model in the long term. It is emphasized that the global economic crisis has confirmed the inadequacy of the export-raw economic model formed in Russia, and the development of a strategy for the modernization of the national economy is required. The dynamics of changes in the probability of sustainable development of Russia, the former Soviet Union and the world as a whole is considered. The prospects for the implementation of the achievements of the state policy of regional stabilization and sustainability of the advanced countries of the world in Russia, the implementation of the model of a sustainable and green economy in conditions of low predictability of global socio-political trends of our time are assessed. The conclusion dwells upon the return to planning of economic activity and preservation of the trend of centralization of its regulation on the background of optimization and red tape reduction of the responsible federal structures will ensure effective reformatting of the national economy in the direction of increasing its sustainability.
