Hospital-substituting technologies in social work with the elderly: a regional aspect

The article presents the result of a study on the implementation of hospital-substituting technologies in the framework of social work with the elderly in the region. The application of hospital-substituting technologies in the practice of social work with the elderly is considered, their most frequently used types are highlighted. The practice of social work with the elderly in the region shows a weak introduction and implementation of hospital-substituting technologies. As a result of the survey of social workers, topical areas of introduction and implementation of hospital-substituting technologies in social work with the elderly, problem areas were identified.
