The stage of initiation of a criminal case in the criminal procedure system: further discussion

The norms regulating the activities of the stage of initiation of a criminal case occupy a special place in the criminal procedure legislation of the Russian Federation. Special attention is paid to the consideration of the arguments of supporters and opponents of the keeping of such a stage of the criminal process as the stage of initiation of a criminal case. As a result of the conducted research, the author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to keep the stage of initiation of a criminal case while simultaneously improving it.
