The author explains interrelation between standards and regulations of state and municipal services and their influence on effective region management. The experience of rendering public services is substantiated in connection to management organization improvement by executive authorities of Russian Federation subject. A set of problems connected with regulation and standardization of state and municipal services is formulated and considered.
