Standardization of blood transfusion in cardiovascular surgery

Бесплатный доступ

Compliance to standards has been evaluated for the rate of transfusions and the consumption of blood components in the delivery of high-tech medical care for cardiovascular surgery at the clinic, which introduced blood-saving ideology. It is established that the need for red blood cells is reduced by 2-5 times, and fresh frozen plasma - 20-40 times compared with the values provided by existing standards. Blood salvage should be added to the standards of cardiac surgery (coronary artery bypass surgery, prosthetic heart valves).
