Formation and development of the social institute of voluntary firefighters in the Yenisei province in the second half of 19th - early 20th century (from 1879 till 1917)

The article highlights the history of firefighter volunteers of Yenisei Province since its formation in the second half of the 19th century. The prerequisites of creation of the institute of voluntary firefighters are given, the main stages of development are presented: from the inception to the organization that played a decisive role in ensuring fire safety in Krasnoyarsk and other county cities.
