Formation and development of the constitutional and legal status of the prosecutor's office of Russia

The article is devoted to the analysis of the Law of the Russian Federation of January 17, 1992 “On the Prosecutor’s office of the Russian Federation”. In the study, the author tries to outline the constitutional and legal position of the Prosecutor in the system of state power, confirm the relevance of the amendment to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which are related to changes of the constitutional provisions on the procuracy. From the position of the author, the proposed amendments play an important role and are aimed at strengthening state security.
