Establishment and development of tax authorities in a region

The paper considers the issues of formation and development of the tax authorities in the Republic of Mordovia, their contemporary structure is examined, as well as their administration and personnel. Prospects of complex modernization of the tax authorities involving transition to a new quality of relations with taxpayers are outlined.
