The formation of the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute in the 1920s–1940s: development and staffing, social status and living conditions of faculty and students

This article attempts to analyze the development of the first higher education institution in Kyrgyzstan during the 1920s-1930s, examining the structural changes of the institute, the social status and living conditions of the teaching staff, student scholarships, and the evolution of the Kyrgyz Institute of Education, the Kyrgyz Pedagogical College, and the Kyrgyz State Pedagogical Institute. After conducting a scientific analysis on the formation of the faculty and the student body of the university, it is determined that the first university in Kyrgyzstan was formed in 1925.
