Development of entrepreneurial universities in Russia

The examination of the evolution and epistemology of the entrepreneurial university model within the context of the triple helix model of innovation aims to resolve the contradiction between the opportunities offered to entrepreneurial universities under this model in higher education and the reality of its implementation. The entrepreneurial university is considered a socio-pedagogical project whose development is driven by the need to enhance the role of universities as sources of innovation. This necessitates its own methodology, based on sustainable interdisciplinary communication among the actors of the triple helix model. The conclusions provide recommendations for optimizing the implementation of the entrepreneurial university concept, embedded in the innovation helix and shaped by complex interactions among various actors, including the government, businesses, educational institutions, research organizations, and society. The results of the analysis can be used to improve policies and practices for the development of entrepreneurial universities both in Russia and in the international context, as well as for modernizing higher and continuing professional education programs for faculty and administrative staff.
