The formation of the project action of first-year students studying to be elementary school teachers

Problem and purpose. The current socio-cultural situation in Russian society influences the priorities in the field of educational policy. To build their own professional trajectory, students majored in education and their teachers need to master the activity-oriented, productive logic of organizing interactions of various subjects of the educational process with a view to ensure their development. This requires considering not one, but many scenarios for its deployment, forecasting risks and managing them in the process of implementing the emerging scenario of activities, evaluating the achieved educational results while organizing activities. With regard to the learning activity of elementary school children, only design, unlike the traditional planning of children’s work using ready-made techniques, allows providing the process of setting learning tasks and solving them by children themselves at elementary school lessons according to the system-activity approach that underlies the Teacher’s Professional Standard, and the federal state educational standard of elementary general education. Thus, the aim of the research is theoretical and experimental substantiation of the hypothesis about the formation of the project action of first-year students studying in psychological-pedagogical training program in the logic of the activity approach. The article presents the system of students’ educational and professional activities, which allows them to discover the principles of pedagogical action for successful implementation of the concept at seminars. To study the development of project pedagogical action, the authors introduce levels, namely, reproductive, productive, constructive ones. The procedure for studying the levels is supported by the results obtained in the experimental and control groups. The methodologyof the study is made up of normative and legal documents in the field of higher education, research works of domestic and foreign scientists recognized by the scientific community, and the experience of teaching students who study in the psychological and pedagogical training program to be elementary school teachers. Results. On the basis of the activity and competency-based approaches, a hypothesis was formulated on the conditions for the formation of the project action of first-year students studying in the psychological and pedagogical training program to be elementary school teach-ers. It is substantiated experimentally that the principles of the organization of reflection, the genesis of concepts (senses), the reinforcement of reasoning by practical experience, the forecasting, the harmonization of logics and the transition from the whole to parts form the basis for student training and ensure the opening of the project logic for students to organize their own educational and professional activities to ensure development of students based on the material of educational subjects. Conclusion. The author’s concept of ensuring the development of the project action of first-year students studying in the psychological and pedagogical training program suggested in the article can be the basis for further research and development in this direction in higher education institutions and secondary educational institutions. The activity logic of the formation of a project action based on the material of disciplines suggests that the student opens the principles of project logic with the other students for the organization of search, cognitive activity of both his own and others, tests them at a seminar and draws up for his next design and pedagogical action.
