Establishment of psychology in South Ural

The article contains brief historiographical essay about history of psychology in South Ural. The paper researches relations of well-known Russian and Soviet psychologist with Chelyabinskaya oblast at different periods of region's development. This report reveals special role of psychological faculties and institutes, evacuating to Chelyabinskaya oblast, in development of domestic psychology during The Great Patriotic War. The study reflects contemporary stage of psychology's development, associated with activity of Chelyabinsk State Pedagogical University (1960-1980s. of XX century) and with leading role of faculty of psychology of south Ural state University (from 1990s until now).
