Establishment of the Russian imperial legidlative system (19 th - beginning 20 th centuries )

19th-beginning of 20th centuries signified the period for the primary branches of law in the genesis of Russian legal system. This was facilitated by the contributions of M.M. Speransky as well as by the publication of the Comprehensive Code of Law of the Russian empire prepared and edited by him. This article is an attempt to shed some light on the development of Russia's legislative system.
