Development of the Soviet political system in Chechnya: the initial stage

The paper studies the initial stage of the Soviet political system in Chechnya. After the Civil War, the primary task of the Soviet power was the swift establishment of the competent regional governments, which was extremely complicated by the existing need to develop a revolutionary administration system under the specific post-war conditions. At that time the Northern Caucasus was an underdeveloped region in all respects - a national remote area of the former Russian Empire. By overcoming the aforesaid difficulties the establishment of the political system of the Soviet Chechnya was carried out.
