Statistical Analysis of Defects in Molded Soles in Footwear

The article discusses the problems of improving the quality of footwear products at the stage of pouring outsole materials. The paper considers the main defects that occur during the casting of the sole of footwear products and methods of minimizing the number of defects. The analysis of the frequency of occurrence of defects based on statistical data and Pareto chart. The study allows to identify critical problems affecting the quality of products and to suggest ways to eliminate them. The approach is based on the method of statistical analysis of defects in the footwear industry.
