Statistical analysis of the level of expenditures of the population of the Far Eastern federal district regions

The article deals with the structure of consumer spending in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal District. We have analyzed consumer spending of the population of the FEFD regions, as well as the dynamics of the cost of living and the minimum cost of consumer goods basket in the FEFD regions. Based on the results of the study, we have concluded that there was an increase in spending on food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, tobacco products, health care, which are instant consumption goods. In addition, there is a decrease in spending for durable goods (clothing, footwear, recreation, education and other categories). The numerical estimate reflects the growth in consumer spending on average per capita from 2015 to 2020 by 19.4%, and in the cost of living by 22%.
