Statistical approach to definition of dome influence on sonar characteristics

The influence of dome on sonar concentration factor has been defined by methods of statistical room acoustics and statistical theory of antennae taking into account dome's heterogeneity. It is established that the dome causes decreasing of sonar concentration and sonar noise stability. As a consequence the distance range of sonar action is reduced. It is shown that the influence of dome's heterogeneity is similar to influence of random errors of antennae's excitation.
