In this article we study some criteria of special (muscular) and cardiorespiratory endurance of the athlete's organism in dressage of various qualifications during a special training on the mechanical model of the dressage simulator. The contribution of the static and dynamic components of the muscle activity to the rider’s work and the correlation of the muscle and vegetative indices are appreciated. It is revealed that the rider’s work of low- skilled athletes in dressage have static-dynamic character with a high proportion of the static component of the muscle activity. Their organism reacts on a special load by the signs of insufficient adaptation of cardiorespiratory and neuromuscular systems, and by the high energy costs and motor asymmetry in consequence of the lack of sport technique. The reaction of vegetative parameters of the organism of professional dressage athletes for a particular type of muscle loading does not differ by a significant working range because the energy costs efficiency due to the improvement of sport technique and skills.
