The status of the escrow agent in light of the reform of Russian civil legislation

The authors of the article conducted a comparative analysis of the features of legal regulation of the status of an escrow agent as a relatively new subject of civil law relations. The existing gaps in the legal regulation of the activities of escrow agents under the escrow agreement have been identified, and proposals have been made to amend the relevant provisions of Russian law.
