Status of positive legal responsibility in the terminology base of general theory of law

Determining the relevance of the article by the importance of category of legal responsibility and notions (categories) condensing accumulated knowledge the authors focus on the category of positive legal responsibility as the legal subject's awareness of his duty to the society, collective, social groups. Considering various interpretations of the category under study, arguments of its advocates determining the right of this phenomenon to exist the authors support the opponents of the positive legal responsibility. In particular, it is stressed that the latter fails to contain so-called state-legal component, and, therefore, cannot be included in the terminology base of general theory of law.
