Gender behaviour stereotypes and their interpretation in the context of the Book of Genesis

The article deals with the problem of gender relations in the religious context. In the framework of the Book of Genesis, the status of man and woman in interpersonal relations is considered. The author discusses how reasonable the division of the world into the "male" and "female" is, and it is concluded that such a division is irrational. It has been found that establishment of androcracy in family and social life comes from the Book of Genesis, where a woman is merely a male's assistant and derivative.
