Fear of loneliness. Algorithm and techniques of psychocorrection

The article aims to reveal the causes of fear of loneliness and render psychological assistance to the people suffering from it. Today in the current century a person can experience fear towards objects and situations which are actually safe. Not infrequently fear is accompanied by depression enhancing the anxiety from fear of loneliness. Hence, it is urgent to render psychotherapy assistance to such people through correctional methods. Among these methods there are associative maps and special techniques including a technique «The house of my fear» developed by Abramova E. This technique identifies, processes and represses the fears sustained by the patient. A person experiencing the fear of loneliness builds a positive self-image, rejects to take the position of a victim and gradually establishes relations with close people.
