Insurance medicine: international experience, ways of development in Russia

The article reveals the ways of development of insurance medicine in Russia and abroad. At the present stage, insurance medicine acts as a guarantor of national health and operates in almost all states with a difference in the mechanism of action. The development of insurance medicine is conditioned by the rapid development of modern medicine on the one hand and the growing needs of the population for quality medical services. Examples of insurance medicine in the countries of Europe, the West, and Asia are given. The analysis of development of insurance medicine in Russia is conducted.
