A country without right populists: Irish traditional values in the rhetoric of extremely right forces

On the basis of materials from the extreme right organizations of modern Ireland, the peculiarities of discussions about traditional Irish values on the extreme right spectrum are revealed. It is argued that, although the issues of national identity, migrants and racism are relevant for the Irish, there has been no significant right-wing movement in the country. The article attempts to determine why, despite the existing demand for a nationalist idea, right-wing radicals are not considered by the Irish as an answer to this demand.
