Strategic indicators of development of vertically integrated oil and gas structures

The article discusses the relevance of strategic development of oil and gas companies at the present stage of their development. The author substantiates the importance of the correct goal-setting, the need for adequate selection of a performance target set taking into account specific features of particular companies. The author considers the complex internal structure of Russian oil and gas companies as their key feature. The performance target set is recommended. The paper provides guidelines for decision-making about the need for alteration of the company''s strategy, which vary depending on the target values.
