Strategic directions for the development of the aviation industry in the Arctic zone

The article discusses the problems and prospects of developing the aviation industry for the needs of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation. The article is of a review nature. As a result of the study, the current state of aviation transport and infrastructure in the Arctic Zone of Russia is assessed, the global experience of developing Arctic aviation is analyzed, and the problems and promising areas of development of Russian aircraft engineering for the Arctic are identified. Proposals are made for implementing a comprehensive approach to the development of Arctic aircraft engineering.
