Strategic risk analysis in the metallurgical industry

The metallurgical industry is a strategically important industry for the Russian Federation, however, like all industries, it is subject to certain internal and external risks, the minimization of which is a key function of risk management. The article discusses the main methods of strategic risk analysis in metallurgical companies, as well as focuses on the features of the use of SWOT analysis for risk assessment. Further, on the basis of the study, the main measures in the metallurgical industry aimed at reducing risk are proposed.
