The article is devoted to the strategic analysis of the food market, specifically potential and actual volumes of consumption, medical allowance, the percentage of self-sufficiency of the population. An important source of information for the formulation of strategic objectives is information about the internal and external environment, the analysis of which allows to assess the reality of goals, predict possible changes and choose the most effective strategy. The basis of strategic analysis is that if we understand the competitive dynamics of the industry, you can think about what steps to take, what to change, how to use these or other opportunities, benefits, competence. The organization can adapt either to changing conditions or to resist them, trying to change the competitive environment.
