The triad “China - Russia - USA”: development of world power relations in a new era

The new era of international relations was marked by a gradual increase in the importance of the positions of China and Russia on the world stage and a relative weakening of the hegemony of the United States. This situation has become the basis for the formation of a new strategic triangle “China - Russia - USA”. The development of relations between countries within it is a key factor influencing the evolution of the international strategic structure and the world order in the current and future period. It is emphasized that this model of trilateral relations has all the prerequisites for long-term existence. As China’s economic potential continues to strengthen and Russia demonstrates its independence, a new balance of power is emerging in the structure of interaction between China, Russia and the United States. The strategic positioning of states has changed, and their interaction today represents a complex configuration of competition, cooperation, confrontation and play. The article offers possible options for the development of trilateral relations and introduces a conditional typology of “triangles” as models of a strategic world order. The most probable tendency of interaction between Russia, China and America is noted. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that in the face of global challenges, countries must unite their efforts to overcome them.
