Standardization is a tool for ensuring the quality of products, works and services - an important aspect of multifaceted commercial activities. The problem of quality is relevant for all countries, regardless of the maturity of their market economy. To become a participant in the world economy and international economic relations, it is necessary to improve the national economy, taking into account world achievements and trends. This article presents the results of a master's thesis regarding the international system of standardization and certification.
