The article considers the issue of the relevance of the use of "forcing" in order to increase the competitiveness of firms in market conditions. The definition of "forcing" is considered. The specificity of "forcing" as an element of strategic planning in the enterprise is highlighted. Briefly presents the main elements of this tool.
