Today, in a market economy, every company, domestic or foreign, sets itself the task of maintaining and strengthening its own competitiveness in the market. At the same time, the company should not only produce products that are in demand, but also develop an innovative sphere in its work. It is necessary to exclude the possibility that the manufactured product will eventually become obsolete, which is why the company should develop its own innovative ideas. In this paper, the concepts of "strategic planning", "strategic management" and "strategic improvement" of investment and innovation activities will be disclosed, as well as their application in the structure of PJSC "Gazprom", in addition - on the example of PJSC "Gazprom Neft" - a subsidiary in the structure of NGK.
