Strategic planning in Russian urban agglomerations: current state and development prospects

The article substantiates the need to transform agglomerations into a full-fledged object of territorial planning with a developed system of forecast and program documents. A set of economic indicators and indicators for use in strategies and programs of urban agglomerations is proposed. The issue of creating permanent bodies for coordinating the development of urban agglomerations based on the principles of inter-regional and inter-municipal coordination is raised.
