The strategic impact of the foreign economic complex on the structure of the regional economy

The subject of the study is the foreign economic complex of the region. The purpose of the study is to substantiate its impact on the structure of regional value added. The interpretation and strategic goal of managing the foreign economic complex of the region are proposed. The methodology of the work involved determining the factors of the region's foreign economic complex, the specifics of their interaction, as well as analysing the structure of the region's economy and assessing the degree of its progressiveness. The conducted research allowed us to identify 2 subsystems of the foreign economic complex of the region, which form the economic foundation and determine its international specialization. The results can be used in further research on this topic. The necessity of developing a strategy and a mechanism for managing the foreign economic complex of the region is substantiated.
