ESG investment strategy for oil and gas companies

The article is devoted to ESG investment mechanisms that affect the oil and gas sector in B2B, B2C, B2G investment models and allow companies to become more competitive in the market. The purpose of the study is to identify and systematize ways of adapting oil and gas corporations to the new "green world" by using ESG investment. The article discusses the concept of ESG investment, its history of origin and development. The author uses the method of logical and structural analysis, the method of comparative analysis, the institutional method, as well as the case study method. Based on the analysis of the activities of oil and gas companies in the framework of ESG investment, the author proposed a model for systematization of approaches that were put together according to a certain principle: strategies and projects were grouped by functional feature.
