Strategy of the state anti-drug policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and the role of internal affairs bodies in its implementation

Based on the study and analysis of regulatory legal acts, monographic works, as well as law enforcement practice of internal affairs bodies, an attempt to determine their tasks for the implementation of the Strategy of the State Anti-Drug Policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 is made in the article. It is noted that the current drug situation is of particular concern, since the drug business organizers actively introduce IT-technologies into criminal schemes that allow them to significantly expand the «client base» of drug users, maintain relative anonymity when making transactions with narcotic drugs, to conceal financial traces formed when organizing the remote sale of these drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, as well as to simplify the processes of legalization (laundering) of drug proceeds.
